SAFE AND CONTROLLED PRODUCTION
Swedish Supplements is a quality-certified company with IP Livsmedel certification , which means that we follow all guidelines from the Swedish Food Administration – both regarding the content and handling of our products. To obtain this certification, we are carefully reviewed by the independent inspection organization KIWA , which ensures that we meet the industry's guidelines, legal requirements and a number of other quality criteria. The certification is time-limited, which means that we undergo annual inspections and that a renewal is required every three years.
We also use Nutraveris , a leading consultancy service in food and dietary supplement legislation. They ensure that we are always up to date with the latest regulations, not only in Sweden but throughout the EU. We continuously follow the latest research and the guidelines issued by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) .
When manufacturing our products, we follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) , a method for risk analysis in food production. This method ensures that every step in production – from idea to finished product – is controlled. Everything from the choice of suppliers and ingredients to manufacturing facilities and packaging materials is carefully examined. The purpose of HACCP is to minimize the risk of quality defects and to guarantee safe products for the consumer.
During production, we also follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) , a set of regulations for the production and packaging of food, health food and pharmaceuticals. GMP includes strict rules for training and responsibility within production. Each batch is analyzed by a qualified person, and if any error occurs during production, it is investigated through a special system called Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) .

We actively distance ourselves from doping and ensure that our products do not contain any illegal substances. Therefore, we always follow the recommendations from the Swedish Food Agency and WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) for all our products and manufacture Swedish Supplements products only in factories that never handle illegal substances. We conduct regular self-inspections to continuously ensure that we only deliver what is stated on the label.
